    Artist’s Notes :
    One year, while I was living in Kailua-Kona the volcano issued forth a heavier than normal amount of VOG (Volcanic Fog.) It wrapped around the island and enshrouded our sleepy fishing village in thick orange/yellow smoke. That event inspired me to paint this.
