Artist Notes :
Oakland tiki bar “Forbidden Island” was having their 10th anniversary and we were part of the event and sale. We picked out a special edition of the “Forbidden Island” piece highlighting the living tiki carring the hula girl. This image I re-designed and lent to Forbidden Island to be used on their T-Shirts and as the basis for a limited edition Tiki Mug. The Bar and the original art were meant to be together so I did all I could to help make it so.
