    This piece is about the environment, sunsets, and stargazer flowers I bought at a local Farmer's Market in Kona.

    The man who grew them hand-picked his very best for me after I told him I was going to use them as a reference in a painting.

    The waterfall was what I remembered from a trip to the other side of the island to see Akaka Falls.

    The wave I witnessed over and over as I contemplated the perfect rush and sweep of water at my local surf spot.
